🌿Meet the Team
Mike Hawtin
Owner Operator 👑
Mike is the heart, soul and driving force behind Hawtin Landscapes.
With decades of hands-on experience, he oversees all on-site operations — from landscaping & site preparation to ongoing maintenance.
Known for his practical approach and attention to detail, Mike takes pride in ensuring every job is completed to a high standard and done properly the first time. He’s very hands-on and makes sure the finished result meets the standard our clients have come to expect from Hawtin Landscapes.
If Mike’s on site, you know it’s in good hands.
Outside of work, Mike loves spending quality time with Tam & their families, and you’ll often find him watching the footy — especially when his beloved Hawks are playing.
Tam Mason-Hawtin
Office Manager 📋
Tam is the heart of the day-to-day operations in the office at Hawtin Landscapes.
From handling enquiries and scheduling to client liaison, accounts and customer relations, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
She also manages marketing and PR, ensuring the business presents professionally across all platforms.
Known for being efficient, responsive and genuinely easy to deal with, Tam takes pride in making the entire process seamless and stress-free for every client from first contact through to completion.
While being married to the boss certainly keeps her on her toes, outside of work Tam loves spending time with Mike, their families and beautiful grandbabies and watching the footy every chance she gets.
Grounds & Maintenance Specialist 🌱
Brayden Hawtin
Brayden is a highly valued member of the Hawtin Landscapes team and plays a key role in delivering the high standard our clients expect.
Working across lawn care, garden maintenance and general site works, he brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail and pride in every job he completes. Whether it’s a routine service or a full clean-up, Brayden consistently ensures each property is left neat, tidy and professionally presented.
Reliable, hands-on and always willing to go the extra mile, Brayden is someone you can trust to get the job done properly.
Outside of work, Brayden is Lego crazy and loves nothing more than getting stuck into his latest build.
When he’s not surrounded by Lego pieces, he enjoys getting out on his Ducati for a ride and spending time with his two much-loved pups, Duke and Milo.
He’s also a passionate Fremantle Dockers supporter and loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Lillian.
Landscape Gardener & Strata Maintenance🌱Joel Mason
Joel is a valued member of the Hawtin Landscapes team, working across our garden and strata maintenance, lawn care and general property maintenance services.
With a practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to tackle whatever the day throws at him, Joel is always ready to get stuck in. Whether he’s mowing, maintaining gardens, carrying out property clean-ups or helping the team on larger jobs, he takes pride in making sure every property is left neat, tidy and professionally presented.
But landscaping isn’t Joel’s only skill. Outside of Hawtin Landscapes, he is also a professional drone pilot, combining his love of technology with a pretty impressive eye from the sky. If there’s a drone hovering overhead, there’s a fair chance Joel isn’t too far away!
Away from work, Joel is a very proud fur-dad to his much-loved pup, Mika, who is well and truly part of the family.
He’s also a huge footy fan, and on weekends you’ll find him at every Fremantle Dockers home game alongside his Dockers-crazy girlfriend Cheyenne.
Craig Sime
Landscape Gardener & Strata Maintenance🌱Our friendly Scotsman, Craig brings a great work ethic, plenty of personality and a genuine love of the outdoors to the Hawtin Landscapes team.
Craig works across our garden and strata maintenance, lawn care, landscaping and general site works. He’s always happy to get stuck in, takes pride in a job well done and has quickly become a great part of the Hawtin crew.
Away from work, Craig is happiest outdoors. A former professional BMX rider, he still loves getting out on his bike whenever he can, along with mountain biking, surfing, hiking and fishing.
Whether it’s sea or freshwater fishing, Craig is always keen to throw a line in, with catching koi carp being a particular favourite. He also loves spending time hiking and exploring with his beautiful partner, Holly
And, of course, he brings a little bit of Scotland to Hawtin Landscapes — although depending on how strong the accent is that day, the rest of us may need him to repeat himself!
